Tipperary Football: 

Tipperary Senior Footballers got their year underway with their first game against Kerry in the McGrath Cup. Clubmen Diarmuid Foley, Liam Boland and Martin Dunne(capt) started for tipp, with Diarmuid getting the opening goal, but unfortunately it went downhill from the there, suffering defeat of scoreline 3-11 to 1-3.
