Our Senior Footballers were defeated by a stronger Loughmore side in the County Final on the Bank holiday weekend, Commiseration to Players and Management, they represented their club with pride, it wont be long before they are bring that County cup back to Monroe. 

Our Junior Footballers take on Clonmel Commercials next Sunday 13th in the South Semi Final in Cahir at 2.30pm  Please come out and support the lads. 

Juvenile

Our U10's played The Mick McGrath memorial football tournament last week.  The U9's finished their year on Friday night with a party. Special thanks to everyone that helped out. 

Our Mick McCarthy hurling tournament was run off last Saturday. On a lovely sunny November day we watched some great hurling skills from our U10's and U12's boys.
Teams were Cathal Cullinan, Micheal Colwell, Liam McGrath, Jack Tynan, Killian Butler, Darragh McDonagh, Peter Boland, Matthew Buckley, Cathal O Gorman, Patrick Dempsey, Tom O Dea, John Paul Phelan, Darragh Walsh, Ronan Walsh, Jake Forrestal, Ben O Donovan, Tom O Brien, Ben Darcy, Philip Keating, Jack Coffey, Michael Phelan, Max Fahy, James Hurle,y Darragh Egan, Michael O Reilly, Bill Looby, Paudie Ryan, Davy Brennan, Louis Power, Paddy O Keeffe, Micheal McKeown, Darragh Walsh, Harry O Keeffe, Jack Lane, Cian McCarthy, Conor O Gorman and Cillian O Halloran.
The winners of the Mick McCarthy shield was Louis Power's team and it was very fitting that Cian McCarthy was on the winning team so Louis and Cian accepted the trophy from Ger and Oisin on behalf of the McCarthy family. A great day was had by all.   This was the final event of  the year for these lads.

Club members CBS students Brian Lacey, Michael Cleary with Kevin Hogan are holding a coffee morning on Saturday 12th from 10am to 12.30pm at A Place4U, Mortons St, Clonmel in aid of the Hope Foundation.  The boys will be travelling to Calcutta in February 2017.  Your support would be much appreciated
