Senior

In what turned out to be a busy week, We took on Aherlow Gale in the County Senior Football Quarter Final on Wednesday last, Despite the fact that we were trailing at half time, 2 great goals from Thomas Hill and Ross Mulcahy gave us the lead. In the closing minutes be battled hard in the closing minutes, with a fantastic block from Alan Campbell, the ball went to the far side for Dara Ryan to get the insurance points Final Score Moyle Rovers 2-11 Aherlow Gaels 0-11.   We then faced Kilsheelan/Kilcash on Sunday in what turned out to be an exhibition game of football Final score Moyle Rovers 4-14 Kilsheelan/Kilcash 0-6.  

All Road now lead to Cashel on Sunday at 2.30pm as we face Loughmore-Castleisney in this years County Final.  

 

Juvenile

U10's-  Carrigaline from Cork came to Monroe on Saturday last for a football challenge. Many thanks to all the parents for helping and  for their  generous supplies of sandwiches , buns, biscuits and cakes for after game refreshments.
