Saturday 6th last we faced Lattin Cullen Gaels in round 2 of the relegation Battle at County Intermediate Hurling, We needed to win to secure our grading of Intermediate hurling for 2019.

From the beginning of the game it was very evident our intention to win this game. Dara Ryan & Craig Condon opened the scoring with 3 points. In the 7th Minutes Lattin Gaels confirm they were not going to be defeated easily, scoring a goal from play. Ben Owens scored 2 points from play, Lattin replied with a point. Kevin Grace scored 2 points from play, again Lattin replied with a point. Ben Owens & Sean Carey added a further 3 points, while Lattin again replied with a point. Dara Ryan finished the half with 2 points, to give us a comfortable lead of 6 points at half time. Half time Score Moyle Rovers 0-12 Lattin Cullen Gaels 1-3. In the second half we kept tagging on the points to attempt to keep us out of touch for Lattin. Lattin Cullen Gaels scored a total of 5 points throughout the second half. Points from Dara Ryan, Shane Lonergan, Craig Condon & Cathal McKeown brought our total to 20 point at the final whistle. The Win now confirms that we will remain in Intermediate Hurling for 2019.
