On Sunday 23rd September our Minor travelled to Cahir in hope of Retaining the South Minor "A" Title, our opponents were the combination team of Clonmel Óg/Skeheenarinky.

The Combo got the scoring underway with 3 points in the opening 4 minutes. It took a while for our minors to settle into the game but when they got going the Combo struggled to come to terms with our forwards movements. Riain Quigley opened with a point, Rory Collins quickly added a second. In the 7 Minute Riain Quigley got through for a rasper of a goal. Riain added another point to his tally, while Anthony Phelan scored a 4th point for Rovers. The Combo replied with a point from a free in the 12th minute. Ben Owens score a point from play. The combination then got into the scoring action, scoring 4 more points without reply. Riain Quigley finished the half with a point, to leave the half time score Moyle Rovers 1-6 Clonmel Óg/Skeheenarinky 0-8. The start of the second half was very much eb and flow type of games, with the sides going point for point for the first10 minutes of the second half. The combo scored their goal in the 11th Minutes of the second half, and we struggled to come back from this blow. We only scored 2 more points for the remainder of the half, while the combination side score a further 5 points. Final score Moyle Rovers 1-11 Clonmel Óg/Skeheenarinky 1-17.
