Senior
Intermediate Hurling
Our Intermediate hurler got their Championship underway last saturday when they took on Sean Traceys. It was a tightly fough first half with very little between the sides. Point from Dara Ryan(2) & Shane Lonergan(1) only left us 2 points behind at the break. Half time Score Moyle Rovers 0-3 Sean Traceys 0-5. Sean Tracey pucked alot of long range points in the second half and despite Kevin Grace scoring a goal in the second half, Sean Tracey still managed to build up a comfortable lead by the final whistle. Final score Moyle Rovers 1-7 Sean Tracey 0-18.
There next game will be the South Semi Final v Ballybacon -Grange which is currently fixed for Thursday 26th April.

Sunday Morning last saw a group 3 team take on Clerihan but unfortunately they were as expected the much stronger team on the day. Finally Sunda evening saw group 2 out again as they took on Clonmel Og but came away with a great win on a scoreline of Moyle Rovers 5-5 Clonmel Og 3-5.
Ladies football
Loreto Clonmel played in the Post Primary A All-Ireland final on Saturday last in Kinnegad. Our girls on the Loreto panel are Cora Maher who is the captain, Jenny Everard, Aine Fitzgearld, Roweena Dowling, Rosin Breen, Emma Moore and Caoimhe Mulcahy. It was a massive achievement for the girls and the school to reach this final but unfortunately it was not to be their day in the sun. Congratulation to their apponents Loreto Cavan on their victory and commiseration to Loreto Clonmel and the MOyle Rovers girls on the panel.
