Camogie.
Last Tuesday our u12 Camogie players took on Moycarkey in Dundrum. It was a blustery evening and the wind was against us in the first half. That did not deter the girls and they played brilliantly. Julina Cronin (Capt) opened the scoring in the first half with a goal from an inspired hand pass from Ava Wall. On the stroke of half time Isabelle Hoare scored our second goal. In the second half the Moyle Rovers girls kept up the pressure on a determined Moycarkey side. The girls kept their composure and stopped Moycarkey from scoring. In the closing minutes Mia Cahalane scored the final goal for Moyle Rovers. We had great defending by the back line of Hannah Ryan, Mia Cahalane, Lauren Barlow and Shawna Mitten who all made sure our goalie Lucy O'Brien had a quiet time. Mid field blazed with Sarah Lutrell, Hazel Brennan, Rosie O'Reilly and Ellie Franklin. The forwards showed great skill and scored the important goals to win this great game. Thanks as always to the girls and supporters who made the journey to Dundrum. The team were Lucy O'Brien, Lauren Barlow, Mia Cahalane, Shawna Mitten, Sarah Lutrell, Hazel Brennan, Ellie Franklin, Ava Wall, Hannah Ryan, Roise O'Reilly, Julina Cronin, Isabelle Hoare, Ava White and Laura Golden.
