Minor

Our Minor took on Commercial on saturday last, with a win confirming a place in the South Final. 3 fanastic goals from Riain Quigley & Luke Delahunty in the first half gave us a comfortable lead at half time Moyle Rovers 3-4 Commercial 0-6. As expected Commercials battled hard in the second half holding us to only scoring 2 further points.  Commercials converted a penalty in the opening minutes of the second half, while again our defence were excellant holding Commercial to 2 point to leave the final score Moyle Rovers 3-6 Commercial 1-8.  We have Grangemockler left to play in the league stages but saturdays result assures us of a top 2 possition in the groups which puts us into South Final.

U12's - Football training Tuesday and Friday  7pm-8pm.

U14's- Our U14's has a busy Sunday evening with the Feile Peil Semi Final and final down for decision. The Semi Final was against Kilsheelan/Kilcash. We were slow to start scoring, it took us until the 7th minute to open our scoring with a goal from Daire Luttrell followed by point from Oran Ryan and Peter McGarry pointed from a free before Kilsheelan/Kilcash got off the blocks. Daire Luttrell again opened the second half with another goal which settled the boys and they started playing better football. We had goasl from Riain O' Halloran and Oran Ryan. We had points from Rory Collins, Rian McCormack and Peter McGarry and went out easy winners.

The Feile Final was straight after semi final and as Commercials had been given a walkover in their semi Final they came fresh to the final. Commercials started quickly with a goal but our boys answered quickly with a goal to reply but Commercials got a good run with 1-2 unanswered to bring us to half time. Our boys came out fighting in the second half with a goal from Dean English to bring us right back into the game. Commercials tagged on 2 more points before DC Hayes struck the back of the net to bring us back to 1 point down and even though we had possession we couldn't get the scores and ended up loosing out by the point. Well done to all the boys they played their hearts out right up to the end.
